Training events

In 2025, the EWED project delivered a series of training activities aimed at strengthening preparedness for Extreme Wildfire Events (EWEs) and supporting the uptake of EWED tools, including the Wildfire Data Portal. These included a three-day in-person “Training Event & Hackathon” in the Netherlands, as well as three online sessions tailored to operational stakeholders in Scandinavian countries, fostering knowledge exchange between research and operations.
