How to collaborate?

We believe collaboration is key to advancing wildfire research and decision-making. We invite researchers, organisations, emergency responders, and stakeholders to join our efforts. Here’s how you can contribute:

  • Share your data: Help expand our database by contributing datasets on Extreme Wildfire Events (EWEs), focusing on fire behaviour, atmospheric conditions, smoke plume characteristics, and other wildfire properties, following the Protocols for data collection.
  • Participate in research: Collaborate on joint studies and co-authored scientific publications, or help validate methodologies using your expertise.
  • Provide feedback: Review our tools, or datasets and share insights to enhance their usability and impact.
  • Develop tools: Partner with us to create innovative tools for data analysis, visualisation, or decision support in wildfire management.

Collaboration benefits include access to a global network of wildfire experts, recognition in publications or tools, and the opportunity to shape the future of wildfire research.
