How to download data?

The Wildfire Data Portal offers two methods for downloading wildfire data.

Download via the Main Page

To download data for a selection of wildfires, follow these steps:

1. Use the ‘Search Data’ section located on the left side of the page. Here, you can filter the data based on various categories, including fire classification, country, year, and fire name. Adjust the filters according to your needs to narrow down the list of wildfires.
2. Once you’ve applied your desired filters, a selection of wildfires will be displayed. At the bottom of this section, you will find a red Download Data box. This box will allow you to download the data for all the wildfires that match your search criteria.

Download from a Fire Detail Page

If you’re interested in downloading data for a specific wildfire:

1. Click on the wildfire of your choice from the main portal page to go to its detailed view.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the detailed page, where you’ll find a red Download Data box. This box will allow you to download the data related to the selected fire.
